The PACA region and its three Mediterranean-facing departments offer a large variety of coast. The beaches of the PACA region are very touristic during the summer season. The beaches of the Var department are the most popular. In this department, there are lots of family resorts. The beaches of the Bouches du Rhone department offer a great scenic diversity among the creeks located around Marseilles, Camargue in the west or the Blue Coast. In the east, the beaches of the Alpes Maritimes department are composed of both sandy and pebble beaches. Enjoy your holidays by the Mediterranean in the south of France!
