Beaches in Lavandou (83980) France - advise, map and photos

Located in the Var Department of the French Riviera, at the foot of the Maures Massif, the Lavandou seaside resort holds some of the best beaches of the French Riviera. It is appreciated for its 12 kilometer coast with fine sand beaches. There are hidden wild creeks around familial beaches and offer many activities. Lavandou can easily seduce its visitors. Numerous awards have been given to these beaches, proving exemplary environmental quality: Pavillon Bleu d'Europe, Pavillon Etoiles de Mer, and Certification eau baignade. The Anglade, Cape Negre, Aiguebelle, Jean-Blanc, Layet and Pramousquier beaches are some of the prettiest in the region. From the different beaches in Lavandou, we have a great view of the Iles d'Or, notably the Porquerolles which is a must-see if you visit Lavandou!

Lavandou is also known for its provencal market which is near the sea each Wednesday in the summer. There are many paths along the coast and one very sportive path that allow access to Saint-Clair Beach. To the west we can join the beaches of Bormes les Mimosas which offer a very wild, natural environment. Around the old harbor you can admire the traditional boats. St-Tropez and the famous beaches of Ramatuelle are only a 40 minute drive away.
