Located in the gulf of Napoule, Mandelieu la Napoule is a choice destination in the Alpes-Maritimes, at only a few kilometers from Estérel and the department Var. The beaches of Mandelieu are made of sand and offer agreeable panoramas of Cannes, the Lérins isles or of Estérel.
We find two different zones for beaches in Mandelieu. On the side of Cannes, facing the gulf, several sandy coves offer a nice setting across from the islands with a view of the bay of Cannes. On the side of Théoule sur Mer, we find two beaches near downtown. Parking is not always easy. More to the south, near the harbor in Rague, we find a typical Estérel beach.
On the seafront is the Napoule castle that rules over the seafront. On each side of it we find two beaches. Several harbors welcome boats.
Mandelieu is a first-choice seaside destination since it is close to the beaches of Cannes, but also there are several areas where we can take walks with family. As for leisures, we find golf on the seafront and beautiful beaches with several beach activities.
Going toward the west, we find little creeks in Var in Estérel. Toward the east we can visit the beaches of Antibes or Nice.
The land behind the sea is equally worth discovering, including the cities of Mougins, Grasse or the Gourdon which is perched up high.
