The small village of Le Rove is located between the Estaque (west of Marseille) and Carry le Rouet. Famous for its goat cheese (brousses of the Rove), it is located away from the sea. To enjoy its beautiful creeks, one must go towards the two small fishing ports of La Vesse or Niolon.
The most accessible beach in Le Rove is located in La Vesse. There are several creeks in Niolon. However, access via hiking trails and passages is difficult. The small quaint port of Niolon is worth a detour.
Le Rove is also famous for its many diving spots. However, the area is protected, therefore fishing is highly regulated and generally prohibited.
Depending on the time of year, vehicle access may be regulated in some areas of Côte Bleue (fire hazard).
This is in our opinion one of the most beautiful creeks of Côte Bleue and also the busiest (there are even restaurants out of season).
