Rayol-Canadel is a small seaside resort attached a long time ago to La Mole in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez in France, and a popular place for wealthy owners who built many villas that can still be seen and bear witness to the Belle Époque. Rayol Domain, including the Garden of the Mediterranean, is a superb site that combines many plant species from around the world. There are three major beaches in Rayol-Canadel located on preserved sites. Canadel Beach, known for being one of the landing sites in Provence, is peaceful and very popular with bathers. Rayol and Pramousquier Beaches are the delight of tourists and enjoy many advantages. You can practice snorkelling in the bay and the younger ones can appreciate "The Waterfront", an activity created for them to discover the treasures of the beach!
The wooded hills and the crystal clear water of the Mediterranean make Rayol a heavenly place and the view of the Golden Islands and Canadel Pass is one of the most spectacular scenery on the Var coast. The Greenway that follows the old railway can reach after a nice walk the neighbouring municipalities of Lavandou and Cavalaire-sur-Mer. It is a destination for those seeking tranquillity, while being close to the many points of interest of the Côte d’Azur. The beaches of Lavandou and Cavalaire sur Mer are only a few kilometres away.
