Beaches in Six-Fours-les-Plages (83140) France - advise, map and photos

The seaside resort of Six Fours les Plages is one of the largest towns in the Var region with many small hamlets. The most famous and the most important of the Six Fours les Plages beaches, is Brutal Beach, which stretches along the General de Gaulle Promenade. It is very popular with windsurfers. Small sandy coves or lifeguard supervised beaches, there’s plenty of choice for holiday makers !

The main attraction of Six Fours les Plages is in the small fishing port of Brusc. It is very charming. The island of Gaou is located a little further away, accessible by a walkway with windswept pine trees, its small sandy cove faces the islands of Embiez.

To fully appreciate beaches and nature, Cap Sicié offers beautiful walks along the coastal footpath. About 18 km of hiking trails through nature reserves. From Notre-Dame-du-Mai, the view of Toulon’s port, the peninsula of Saint-Mandrier and even the picturesque Calanques of Marseilles is beautiful.

From Six Fours, you can go to the island of Embiez (Island of Paul Ricard) where there are some nice walks and excellent snorkelling areas. From Bandol, you can go to the second island of Paul Ricard (smaller, one hour to visit it), the island of Bendor.

Nearby, you can enjoy the beaches of Toulon including the beaches of Mourillon, which are popular in Toulon. You can also enjoy the beaches of Sanary sur Mer and its port.
