Cap d’Ail is located between Monaco and Beaulieu sur Mer; it is a small resort adjoining the principality of Monaco and Fontvieille district. The activity is concentrated around its small harbour.
Given the unfavourable relief, Cap d'Ail is recommended for people who love walking. The coastline path is notable for its high cliffs and small beaches, some of which are secluded. This path provides access to the different beaches of the resort where there are sandy and pebble beaches, all the while enjoying Belle Époque architecture.
Cap d’Ail can also be a nice holiday centre next to Nice, Menton or Monaco. For those wanting easily accessible beaches, they can head to the public beach of Monaco, which is, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful beaches of the Côte d’Azur in the heart of the city. The scenic path (part of the municipality of La Turbie) also offers exceptional points of view between the seaside and the mountains.
Diving enthusiasts will also discover exceptional sea floors at the forefront of the Douaniers (Cap d’Ail extinct volcano), at Cap Rognoso or Cap Mala.
