The seafront of Cagnes sur Mer was completely renovated and a large promenade was installed going from the hippodrome to the Cros harbor. Some parking places were taken away in order to complete the renovation. The beaches in Cagnes sur Mer extend along the seafront for about 2.5km. They are mostly made up of large stones. Grand Large Beach is the only one with sand. On the east part we find a few private beaches with restaurants that were renovated in 2011. The neighborhood Cros is the most typical with its yellow bell and the avenue des Oliviers where we can find several little shops and restaurants. The market attracts a crowd looking for local products. The harbor of Cros de Cagnes has kept a typical setting with its points.
Haut de Cagnes with its steep roads and covered passages is the old city. Here we find several restaurants and the castle. Attention, it is very difficult to park in Haut de Cagnes. We advise you to use the free shuttles.
