Beaches in La Croix-Valmer (83420) France - advise, map and photos

The discreet seaside resort of La Croix-Valmer owes its name to the emperor Constantin who, while going to Rome, saw a large cross which became his banner, appear in the sky. This little city is full of assets from the pretty beach Gigaro to the side at Cape Lardier. It extends over 300 hectares and offers a panorama of the Mediterranean flora, umbrella pines, heather, and wild lavender which house the large variety of birds from the land and sea.

In June, the villa welcomes the Anches d'Azur festival – a real reference in the gulf of Saint-Tropez, it's a time to listen to amateur and professional musicians in the “Jardins de la Villa Turquoise” (Gardens of the Turquoise Villa).

Visitors particularly appreciate these beaches in La Croix-Valmer: Douane and Debarquement, which is one of the most active beaches in the summer with several shops nearby, the continuity of Cavalaire sur Mer, Heraclee, Gigaro, Brouis (more of a nudist beach with gravel), Jovat or even Briande which offers a great landscape near the beaches of Ramatuelle. These beaches make families and athletes happy.
