Batterie des Lions Beach in Marseille is located in the neighborhood Malmousque (7th arrondissement) on the southern side of the peninsula. This little creek is made of stones and is little known. It is only frequented by the habitants of the peninsula. We can get here by a stairwell between two houses (see photos).
Around this beach it's difficult to find parking! We advise you to park near the foreign legion (Chemin du Genie or Traverse du Plateau de Malmousque) then join the Rue de la Douane then take the stairs that lead to Rue de la Batterie des Lions. The beach is on the right at the bottom of the stairs.
