Vieille Chapelle Beach in Marseille is one of the six beaches of Prado. It is the southernmost of avenue de Prado, at the end of the hippodrome Borély. The beach is in a little cove that is very nice with some sand, stones, and rocks. Around here we find large lawns and a skate park. It is handicap accessible near Bonneveine Beach.
The beach does not have a lifeguard, but there is a first-aid station on the neighborhing beach. Swimming is authorized only on the right side of this beach. The rest is normally reserved for water sports.
Below, we find several restaurants and cafes. A paying parking lot is also available.
A channel of water for kite-surfers can be found on this beach.
