Calanque d'En-Vau in Marseille is located between high cliffs. Cassis is the closest town, but this calanque belongs go Marseille. In the middle of the pines, it is one of the most beautiful calanques in the Mediterranean. It has the advantage of being protected from the famous wind, the“mistral”. Across from the military zone take the road that goes in the forest la Gardiole and park in the lot. A path allows access to the calanque – plan one hour by foot.
Note that this zone is reputed for underwater fishing and snorkeling, especially at Pointe Cacau.
