The Corbière beaches are the Estaque Beaches in the 16th arrondissement of Marseille. Located at the beginning of the Cote Bleue, we find three beaches next to the Lave harbor: Lave Beach, Batterie Beach and Fortin Beach. The first two are sand and the third is made of stones.
The sand beach Lave has a first aid station in the summer and is handicap accessible.
Batterie Beach is located to the west of the harbor. Made of sand it offers a great view of the harbor of Marseille and Estaque.
Fortin Beach is located behind the previous beach and offers a view of one of the bridges of train bleu. This beach is made of stones.
These three beaches are appreciated by families since they are not deep. A clothing shop is also available and there is a beach volleyball court in the summer.
Stairs dug into the rocks give access to the beach.
You can get here from the route A55 going toward Martigues, then exit onto the “nationale” toward Estaque. A free parking lot is located in the village. A but also makes the liaison between the harbor and this neighborhood. We can also come here by train from the station Saint-Charles.
Attention, it is advised not to leave anything in you car as numerous problems have been signaled.
