Bonneveine Beach in Marseille (or Gaston Deferre Beach) is part of the Prado beaches. It is located at the intersection of Avenue Bonneveine and Avenue Mendès France. Protected by two dams, this large sand and gravel bay is frequented by families. It extends over 500 meters. Around the beach we can find plenty of restaurants and cafes. There is a lifeguard in the summer. It is one of the most important beaches in Marseille and of Prado park. On the left we find a skate park and on the right is Escale Borély with several restaurants. We also find beach volleyball courts.
Near this beach is the hippodrome of Borély park. A paying parking lot is available along the road.
