Phocéens Beach in Marseille (before it was called Bain des Hommes or l'Abri Côtier) is located between the beaches Bain des Dames and Sablettes. This little sand beach is occupied by a restaurant on one half. Only the right side is public. It is very busy with families with children, mostly in the morning because there is a lot of shade.
To get here from the harbor of Pointe Rouge, follow directions for Goudes. On Avenue Montredon, take a right onto Boulevard des Baigneurs. There is an entrance to the beach at the end of the road. Attention: it is very difficult to find parking here.
