Pointe Rouge Beach in Marseille is the largest sand beach in the city. Located after the artificial beaches of Prado, we find several restaurants right on the water. It is very familial and there is a lifeguard in the summer as well as games for kids. A very nice view of the harbor and the Iles de Frioul. It is rather busy.
Nearby is the Pointe Rouge harbor which allows us to access this beach thanks to shuttle boats making the liaison between this beach and the Vieux-Port (Old Harbor).
On the west part of the beach, sports such as kitesurfing and windsurfing are practiced.
A parking is located nearby but we advise you to take the bus (line 19).
