Bestouan Beach in Cassis is the second larges beach in town. It is located on the same side as the calanque of Port-Miou on the peninsula. This beach consists of stones and is narrow (less than 100 meters long). For years the public is restrained from visiting due to private beaches and restaurants. A lifeguard is present in the summer and there is a beautiful view of Cape Canaille. You can get here in less than 10 minutes by foot from downtown.
We find a paying parking lot behind this beach (but it's very difficult to find a spot). Attention, depending on the time the road can be closed due to too much traffic.
