Grand Soufre Beach is behind the port of Frioul. This is the nearest beach to the village, yet it is unfrequented (it is not indicated, one usually goes to St Esteve Beach). Easily accessible via well-equipped stairs, the gravel beach is very nice and fairly well protected from winds. On the side, in the direction of the tip of Brigantine, there is a small very narrow creek with a small gravel beach. Nice but one has to get there first to reserve it!
To get to this beach from the pier, turn right towards Pomègues Island. At the dam (at the end of the village), turn right. The cove is fifty meters away.
