Our opinion on the Tonnara Beach
Beautiful Tonnara Beach is located south of the Gulf of Ventilegne in Bonifacio. The environment is preserved; there is very little construction in this area (a few construction at the port of Tonnara), which is quickly forgotten one hundred meters away along the coast. The sand is quite coarse but attendance is reasonable, which is rare in Corsica. From the main beach (next to the car park), the view is nice on the nearby islands of Tonnara (about 100 meters away). There are many small quiet coves among the rocks along the coastline. It is also possible to enjoy kite surfing or jet skiing (in summer).
This beach is located about 20 minutes away west of the centre of Bonifacio on the road to Ajaccio (N196). Take the national road for 9 km then turn left on the D358 towards Tunnara (there are many advertising signs indicating restaurants). There is a car park along the beach 1.5 km away.

North of Stagnolu Bay (accessible by the beach but there are mainly naturists), this beach offers a beautiful stretch of sand in a protected environment.
There is a restaurant at the car park, and it is possible to rent mattresses in summer.
This beach is also a famous kite surfing spot.
There are several islands opposite (less than 100 meters away), which are the Tonnara islands.
There are many small coves for lovers of calm along the coastline.
