Between the tower of Caldarello and Capineru point, are the beaches of San Giovanni (named after the marshes found nearby). These beaches are little known and little used in the summer season. The main beach (the closest to the point of Capineru) is easily accessible by car. It offers a nice length of sand (with some Posidonia). Continuing to walk toward the Bay of Figari (at the Genoese tower) there is a second beautiful quiet sandy beach.
To go to this beach from Figari, take the direction for Pianottoli. In the village, turn left on the D122 towards the harbour of Figari. Just before you get to it, turn on the right (you pass the tennis club). The route deviates from the sea and then returns in the vicinity of the point. The beach is located below the road.
