Campo Mezzano Beach is located in the Gulf of Ventilegne in Bonifacio on the west coast of the peninsula of the same name. This pleasant sandy beach is one of the most beautiful in the Gulf of Ventilegne and Bonifacio. It is not very well known, and attendance is very low in summer even if it is accessible via a track with a four-wheel drive. At the tip of Campo Mezzano, there is a series of small sandy coves but they are less protected than the main beach (especially if the sea is rough). On the East Coast, there are also some nice little creeks.
There is on the right an access to the track leading to these beaches on the N196 from Bonifacio, 1.8 km after after the bridge of Ventilegne (gate at the entrance with height limit - only for four-wheel drives - 1.8 km long). It takes 35 minutes on foot from the national road (downhill so the return is uphill...).
