The beaches of Cala Longa in Bonifacio are located south of the gulf of Sant'Amanza and 15 minutes away from the centre of Bonifacio. The main beach is located at Purgatorio Lake, near a resort. There are several beaches and sandy coves around it north and south (within a radius of 150 meters). These beaches are preserved and attendance is correct in summer (natural limitation concerning parking).
To get to this beach from the centre of Bonifacio, take the D58 towards the Gulf of Sant'Amanza then turn right after 3 km on the D258 towards Cala Longa. Follow the D258 to the sea (the departmental road becomes some kind of track near the coves). Parking is along the road, there are several trails leading to the beaches.
