Chevanu Beach in Pianottoli-Caldarello - France

Our opinion on the Chevanu Beach

Near the Gulf of Figari, in the area of Pianottoli-Caldarello, you find Chevanu Beach (also called beach Kevano Beach). Consisting of a main beach in the bottom of the bay and coves on the sides, this is one of the most beautiful beaches of southern Corsica. It has the advantage of not many tourists and uncrowded even in the summer season. The various beaches of this bay make it easy to find a quiet place. The various rocks that decorate this beach provide additional change of scenery with a dense vegetation filling out the untamed side. Good for swimming because of the gently shelving beach, suitable for families with children. The seabed is interesting, it is advisable to bring a mask and snorkel.

In the southern part of the beach (after campsite Kevano) there is free parking (indicated by a sign of the natural site of Chevanu).

To get to this beach from Figari take the N196 towards Ajaccio. In the village of Pianottoli-Caldarello turn left at the intersection (signposted campsite) then turn off on the D122 and to the right towards Kevano. After the campsite, continue and turn right into the car park (Chevanu).
