Our opinion on the Cala Sciumara Beach
There is a small sandy beach in Cala Sciumara east of the tip of Pertusato, the lighthouse and the Island of St-Antoine. This secret cove is only accessible by an inland trail (the coastline is impractical). It is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet.
The simplest way is to park in the Semaphore Pertusato car park (the lighthouse is closer to the creek but not accessible by car - access by D58 and D260 towards the Sperone golf course - then follow the signs to the semaphore) and then go east towards the lighthouse. Turn left at the first bend below a blockhouse then one gradually reaches the seaside near the creek. It is about 1 hour on foot.
