Pisciu Cane Beach is located in the Gulf of Ventilegne across Bonifacio and Figari. This beach is only accessible via the coastal path and almost is deserted even in summer. Unfortunately, there is a thick layer of Posidonia on the beach (aquatic plants, non-toxic, proof that the quality of the water is excellent) leaving only some small sandbars (but this beach is not well known, only a few hikers stop there to swim). There are some small sandy coves towards the tip of Ventilegne.
There are several solutions to reach this beach. There is a trail at Petraggione leading down to Campo Mezzano Beach (1.8 km away after the bridge of Ventilegne from Bonifacio) only accessible with a four-wheel drive - 2.5 km away). Pisciu Cane Beach is only 400 meters away. It takes 40 minutes to go down on foot from the national road (return is harder because it goes up).
