Our opinion on the Escondelle Calanque
Escondelle cove is located below the semaphore in Frioul. It is very narrow and there are only rocks. Access to the sea is tricky and one should wear shoes while swimming. It takes about 35 minutes to get there from the port of Frioul. In our view, it is not worth the trip.
To get to this cove, go to the semaphore. There is a path on the right before it (Astragales trail). Take this path; access to the creek is about fifty meters away on the right.

The access to the cove in Pomègues Island is rather long. The trail is pretty well laid out, but the cove is very disappointing.

Sea access is a little tricky; it is a shame to come here after so much effort.
