Ajaccio’s beach of Terre Sacrée is located on the Sanguinaires road and is similar to the beaches of Macumba and Week-End. The beach stretches on both sides of the 14-18 war memorial. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Ajaccio with a picturesque landscape and in the background a view of the Sanguinaires Islands and the tower of the Parata.
Either side, there are two straw cabins with the possibility of renting beach equipment during the summer season in summer.
To go to this beach from Ajaccio, take the Sanguinaires road. After the marine cemetery, approx. 5 km along the main road, just before the turnoff for Capo di Ferro, on the left, you will find access to the beach (sign indicating access to the war memorial and to Week-End beach). There is free car parking, and the lifeguard station is nearby.
