Ajaccio’s Macumba beach, or Vignola beach (Marina Di Vignola) is a sandy beach with some rocks (and coves) extending for over 600 meters. This beach is supervised during the summer season and there is access for people with reduced mobility, next to the lifeguard station. Very pleasant environment but in the summer season, it is one of the busiest beaches of Ajaccio.

To find this beach, take the Sanguinaires road, 500 meters after the turn of the Parata, at the roundabout, there is the Restaurant MACUMBA sign. Take this road. Parking is available. There are several restaurants on this beach.

According to Plages.tv, this beach is one of the most beautiful of Ajaccio even if all the beaches of Ajaccio are very pleasant. It is next to the beach of the Terre Sacrée.

We are at the start of this beach of Vignola (Goelands and Sanguinaires Islands side). It is idyllic setting of sand and rocks.

On the right, the beach stretches for hundreds of meters. Nice view of the Sanguinaires islands and the tower of the Parata.

This monument is a reminder of the 14-18 war.

This Ajaccio beach offers extra fine sand among the rocks.

At the edge of the beach of Terre Sacrée, there is a straw cabin with beach equipment for hire.
