Pietrosella’s Ruppione Beach is south of the peninsula of Isolella on the road to Mare e Sole Beach in the Ottioni’s cove. The main part is made up of about 600 meters of fine white sand. In the summer season, it is supervised and there is even a beach hut in the north. After the latter, there are some small discrete coves frequented by the locals in search of peace and quiet. Gently shelving beach ideal for swimming.
Note that this is a famous surfers spot. On windy days, the sea can be very rough.
To get to this beach from Porticcio, take D55 towards Coti-Chiavari. 1.5 Km after Isolella, you arrive in the village of Ruppione. There is a car park on the right directly on the beach.
