Ajaccio’s Petit Capo Beach (also known Sevani Beach or Saint Antoine Beach) is located north of the Sanguinaires islands, near Minaccia cove and Grand Capo Beach. An area appreciated by surfers, this beach extends for over 300 meters in a pleasant setting. There is a beach hut and several tourist facilities (on the left). Sixty people live there all the year round. Warning, in rough seas, swimming is very dangerous. This beach is supervised in July and August.
To reach this beach, take the road of the Sanguinaires for about 8 km, then turn right on to D111B towards Minaccia and Capo di Feno. You find a dirt road on the left that provides access to the beach (about 4 km - sign indicating for Sevani Beach). Another solution is to go on to Grand Capo Beach (somewhat better road) and then walk to Petit Capo (starting on the left, cross the large field - 25 minutes’ walk from the car park).
