Porticcio is a seaside resort in southern Corsica in the Gulf of Ajaccio; it belongs to the commune of Grosseto-Prugna. This is one of the most important tourist destinations close to Ajaccio. It is possible to gain access by road or by maritime connections between the jetty of Porticcio and the port of Ajaccio. One will easily take advantage of both cities including the beaches of Ajaccio that are totally different, especially those on the way to the Iles Sanguinaires.

As for the beaches of Porticcio, the two main ones are Viva and Agosta Beaches. Both offer long stretches of sand with many tourist facilities.
