Ajaccio’s Barbicaja Beach is located on the Sanguinaires road. With its extra-fine white sand, turquoise sea dotted with a few rocks on the sand, the setting is heavenly. On the right side, there are two private beaches with restaurants. The left side is more untamed with areas of sand separated by rocks. A very popular beach in the summer season, it is one of the most beautiful beaches of Ajaccio.
To get on to this beach from the centre of Ajaccio, join the Sanguinaires road. After the cemetery, continue for 1 km on the D111. Parking is on the roadside.
