The Ricanto beach (or Tahiti) in Ajaccio is the beach south of Ajaccio (Porticcio direction). It is also the largest sandy beach of Ajaccio. It covers nearly 3 km. The downside of this beach is its proximity to the airport.
You will find free parking along the road, just above the beaches.
This beach is supervised during the summer season (the area closest to the city centre of Ajaccio and extending over 1 km up the road from Campo Dell Oro). Note that during the summer season, this beach is equipped with board walks for people with reduced mobility (in the centre of the supervised area - see map).
Note that the end of the Ricanto beach is reserved for naturism (at the foot of the Capitello tower, after the airport).
Despite the presence of the airport, this beach remains popular. Even in the summer season, you can always manage to find a place to relax.
