Our opinion on the Girelles Beach
Ajaccio’s Girelles beach is located on the Sanguinaires road. This beach is one of the five beaches of Santa Lina. There is a music-bar with a private beach and a public area. This is one of the Ajacciens’ favourite beaches!
The quality of the sand and the turquoise waters have made this beach one of the busiest of the Gulf of Ajaccio. Note that in front of the beach, there is a large car park at the Santa Lina area with a bowling alley and numerous restaurants.
To get to this beach from the centre of Ajaccio, follow Sanguinaires road. After the cemetery, follow the road for 2.3 km. After the bowling alley, you will find ample free parking.

Beautiful wide sandy private and public beaches. However, these beaches are densely populated in the summer season.
