The small coves south of the island of Groix are sought after, but a little harder to find. To find the Stank cove from the main town of Groix, head south towards the hamlets of Lomener then Locqueltas. There, join the coastal trail and turn right. You then discover a cove with several nooks and crannies, and quite a lot of people also in the summer season. The place is alive, joyful and young. The regulars feel really at home and the newcomers do not delay imitating them. Access to the sea can be painful for the feet if you do not look where you put them. There are however "corridors" of sand. This small cove changes dramatically between high and low tides.
