At the bottom of the cove of Porh Roed of the island of Groix, near the hamlet of Locqueltas, lies the little Saisies cove. It is located at the mouth of the stream of Locqueltas which divides it in two. Southern exposure, fine sand, and soft vegetation are the main characteristics, but, as at Porh Roëd, access to the sea by low tide is achieved by a narrow sandy corridor. If you come to swim here, you will prefer at high tide. The nearby Saisies Point is part of the Nature Reserve François Le Bail, not for its flora or fauna, but for its geological interest.
Note the presence of a small restaurant in the hamlet of Locqueltas: La Malicette. A detail quite rare to be noted.
