The beach of Porh Roëd (Port Raid) of the island of Groix is a small cove facing south, like so many others on this untamed coast of the island but which is distinguished by its flat landscape and the proximity of a small hamlet. It is also surrounded by two rocky outcrops, one of which, the one on the left which ends at Pointe des Saisies, is a nature reserve, Parc François Le Bail, remarkable for its geology. As on the nearby beach of Locmaria, seaweed is not uncommon, brought in by the large waves of this sometimes unfriendly coast, but the top of the beach is preserved. It is easy to bring your boat here provided it is light. There is a restaurant nearby: La Malicette. To get there follow the road to Locqueltas then that of Kermarrec.
