Acciaju beach in Porto-Vecchio (also known as Asciaghju) is the southern most beach in the bay of Palombaggia. This is the least known beach in the bay and probably the most interesting due to its direction (it is well oriented, few waves even when it is windy).
There is a hut in the centre. Both ends are public. There are a few dunes on the left. You can reach Folacca beach (north) on foot.
To get to this beach from the centre of Porto Vecchio, take the N198 towards Bonifacio. At the third roundabout (do not take the direction of Piccovaggia because it is longer), turn left in the direction of Oru Bucca. Follow the road for 4.8 km. In the big bend, turn right towards different huts (there is a sign indicating Acciaghju car park). Keep right and park (at first sight of free parking except in July and August) near the beach.
