Soux Beach (also known as Sioux Beach) is located south of Ile-d’Yeu on the Wild Coast and is one of the most beautiful coves in the island. The environment is totally idyllic between the cliffs on the wild coast with some rocks standing out at sea. It is quite well protected from the wind (this is also an anchorage area). However, it is small and attendance is significant in summer. On the other hand, this beach is ranked amongst the beaches where bathing is dangerous.
To get to this beach, go south in the direction of La Croix Village. At Old Ladies Beach, follow the path west for about 1 km. At the car park, turn left and go down to the beach.
