Our opinion on the Pulante Beach
Pulante Beach is located west of Joinville harbour, in the direction of the tip of Gournaise. Composed of several sandy areas, this beach is little frequented. There are many rocks at low tide. Swimming seems allowed (odd because it is prohibited near Rose Beach because of pollution risks). In our view, there are much better beaches in the south of the island; it is only useful if one finds accommodation in the surrounding area.
To get to this beach from Joinville harbour, take the road along the beachfront westward (about 2 km, 25 minutes on foot).
