Our opinion on the Sapins Beach
Sapins Beach in Ile-d’Yeu (Fir Beach) is located south of the tip of Gauthier and is popular for its pine forest bordering it and its fine sand. A meeting point for a picnic in the shade of the pine forest, one also comes here to cool off in this beautiful bay where one can see many boats dropping anchor here (it's a anchorage area). A few sand banks are surrounded by rocks in the north, next to the tip of Gauthier (there is also the name of Table Beach for this area). In the south, there are several areas in the shade.
This beach is located 2.5 km south of Ile-d’Yeu harbour in the locality of Sapins. It is accessed by road from Fort Gautier.

The environment is pleasant on this beach surrounded by the pine forest, where there is shade in summer. In the background, the small Fir harbour (mooring area) with a creek called Table Beach.
Many boats on the beach remind us that this bay is an anchorage area. Some rocks in the sea entertain children.
