Our opinion on the Marais Salé Beach
Marais Salais Beach (Salt Marsh) in Ile-d'Yeu is located southeast of Joinville harbour between the tips of Porteau and Sablière in the locality of Salt Marsh. This beach is divided into several areas. Both ends are reserved for water sports (sailing, kayaks). The centre is reserved for swimming (even at low tide there are no rocks in this area unlike at the ends). On the left side, there is a boat slipway with access for cars. Some huts are visible in the rocks.
This beach is located about 3.5 km away from Ile-d’Yeu harbour. It is advisable to go there by bicycle through the route that takes one to the various beaches (one will head to Conche Beach).

This small cove on Ile-d'Yeu provides a pleasant environment near the tip of Porteau.
About 300 meters long, there is on the left side a boat slipway. Pine beach is behind the tip.
Fine sand and reasonable attendance ... there is also a sailing club.
This beach is divided into several areas: swimming and water sports centre at the ends.
