Our opinion on the Gournaise Beach
At the tip of Gournaise on Ile-d’Yeu (pretty wild area with very few houses), there are several beaches and sandy coves. They are relatively narrow and there are lots of rocks at sea level, making it difficult to swim. People mainly come for fresh air and to walk.
These beaches are located about 3 km away from Joinville harbour (about 30 minutes on foot along the coast from Rose Street).

The various beaches are narrow and there are many rocks in the water.
Perfect for a stroll, a little less for swimming.
After the tip of Gournaise, there are some small discrete coves ... for solitude lovers.
