Our opinion on the Roses Beach
Rose beach in Ile-d’Yeu is located near Joinville harbour in the northwest. It is small but attendance is reasonable even in summer. The environment is composed of a few houses. However, compared to other beaches on the island, it has no real charm. Moreover, swimming is prohibited by decree because of unforeseeable accidental pollution risks.
To get to this beach from the port, skirt the latter in the northwest then successively follow North, Bossiles and Rose Streets. About 20 minutes on foot.

It is a nice small sandy beach near Joinville harbour. The beach is narrow but still very enjoyable.
The beach is easily accessible from Rose Street; there are no cliffs in this part of Ile-d’Yeu.
