Our opinion on the Belle Maison Beach
Ker Daniau Beach or Belle Maison (Beautiful House) Beach (named after the nearby cave) is located on the wild coast of Ile-d’Yeu south of the airfield. The sandy cove is one of the most beautiful beaches in Ile-d’Yeu, little known and less crowded than the southern beaches of the island. Surrounded by cliffs, the setting is idyllic with rocks in the creek. However, this beach is ranked amongst the dangerous beaches of Ile-d'Yeu (with those of Purpose and Soux).
To get to this cove from Ker Bossy hamlet, take Ker Doucet Street, Tonnellé Road then turn left towards Ker Chauvineau. There is a diagonal road towards the rugged coastline and the cave of Belle Maison.
