Our opinion on the Golf Beach
Saint-Jean-de-Monts’ Golf Beach is located north of the dam near the thalassotherapy centre and Saint Jean de Monts’ Golf club. Unlike the beaches to the south, this beach is totally preserved with well-developed sand dunes. This beach is huge and not over crowded (if you want peace and quiet, go a little further away to the north). In the summer season, the beach is supervised.
To get to this beach from the center of Saint Jean de Monts, take the avenue of “Pays de Monts” from the promenade (at the roundabout, you take the left towards the golf club). Parking is not always easy in the summer season. There are several beach accesses by trails (the main one is at the roundabout in the spa centre.
