Our opinion on the Moulin de la Bosse Beach
Moulin de la Bosse (Bump Mill) Beach is located west of the island of Noirmoutier and right next to Morin harbour. Located near Thorn village, it has several spikes. Only the one at the port is wide, the others are very small according to the tides.
Note that this beach has been banned in the past for several weeks because of green algae (due to high tides).
Bump Millis located in the background on this beach (in great condition).
To get to this beach, you can park at the port or at the end of Mill Road (free car park with toilets and picnic tables).

Thorn Beach is adjacent to Morin harbour. The nearest port area is relatively wide.
There are several small dunes on this beach in Noirmoutier. Bump Mill is in the background.
There still are twenty mills left in Noirmoutier (originally we had a lot of grain on the island).
On the left, the beach becomes very narrow according to the tides.
Further south, one can reach the beaches of St Jean and La Martiniere.
