Our opinion on the Eloux Beach
Eloux Beach is located on the west coast of the island of Noirmoutier between the villages of Epine in the north and Guérinière in the south. Bordered by the wood of Eloux in the north, it stretches to the tip of the Loire. This area is very rocky and mainly frequented at low tide to practice on-foot fishing. At high tide, many areas are completely covered by the sea. To swim, Ocean Beach is located a few hundred meters to the north and is, in our opinion, much more enjoyable.
To get to this beach from Epine, follow the D95 towards Guérinière. Just before entering the latter, take the road which branches off to the right towards the wood of Eloux (an hotel is also indicated). At the end of this road (after 1 km) there is free car park.

There are some small sandy coves at the edge of the Loire. However, the various beaches are very small at high tide.
Many rocks were laid on the beach to control soil erosion.
Only rocks at high tide, the beach disappears completely according to areas.
