Sableaux Beach is the only supervised beach on the island of Noirmoutier (July and August). Located south of the tip of St Peter (bordering Ladies beach), it stretches over several hundred meters in the direction of Fort Larron. This is the northern area (area starting at the tip of St. Peter and down south on about 700 meters) which is the most interesting and most popular. There are many beach huts along Chair Wood. There are several campsites nearby.
Several accesses are available to reach this beach. The most convenient one is located at the end of Barbauderie Street (continuity of Sableaux Street).
