Luzeronde Beach on the island of Noirmoutier is located in the northwest. It is one of the biggest beaches on the island of Noirmoutier. Bordered by dunes and Luzeronde Wood, the environment is completely preserved. The salt marshes of Noirmoutier are located further inland.
The northern part of the beach is very family oriented and swimming is gently sloping. In the south, after the blockhouse, naturism is tolerated (this is the only beach on the island of Noirmoutier).
There are a few more private sandy coves in the north of Herbaudière.
One comes to this beach usually via the coastal path from Herbaudière. By car, there are two car parks, one in Mulberry hamlet (on Luzeronde Street but there are only a few places) and the other on Guérande Street (access via a footpath to cross the dunes, just before going into the wood).
To reach the naturist area, it is advisable to go to Thorn village then to Morin harbour, and finally to follow the road to the sailing school.
